Na okładce: There was a young girl called Gloria who was had by Sir Gerald Du Maurier... .
Na dole okładki: ...By six other men, Sir Gerald again, and the band at the Waldorf-Astoria.
Na dole okładki: Rude, Very Rude & Disgusting.
The first limerick originated from a song about a sailor from Limerick, Ireland and dates back to the 14th century. The five line nonsense verse has now become universally known as the limerick. Limericks can be funny, clever and often rude, but always bring much amusement. This compilation of rude, very rude and disgusting limerics reveal the true essence of the "dirty limerick".

Leonardo da Vinci's desire for accuracy and realism in his work drove him to take an almost forensic approach to recording the world around him, and also to produce an enormous number of paintings, drawings, plans and diagrams. Selected from the entire rangę of Leonardo's finest drawings, this book presents a comprehensive and inspiring collection that is testament to Leonardo's accurate eye and unfailing hand. Once you have studied these images you will begin to understand why Leonardo believed the eye was the perfect instrument for absorbing all the laws of naturę, and that the artist was the perfect instrument for their expression.
